I'd like to see something like NHL was or has been MT 2K23 where every player has a specific role that they play and how these roles impact chemistry or something. I'm thinking of a team like the '04 Pistons where their skillsets and roles were able to blend perfectly that they performed far better than NBA MT 2K23 the totality of their components. A team with 5 primary scorers on the floor just would not have the same chemistry as a team with a good balance of scoring, defense, and playmaking or something similar. They already have ratings for how the player fits into a team so wouldn't it be absurd to assign a similar rating for every role?
What are your thoughts? Anything other than making the majority of players unusable due to fictitious relationship issues on the court. After all this game mode is abt making your dream team. Edit: IMO they need to concentrate on resolving the many problems before adding ANYTHING like this. This game would be much better if they had fixed the bugs and multiplayer wasn't reliant on learning input lag.
It's not a chemical thing which makes players ineffective. it's an additional boost. The ovr of their players would be affected if they were to play out of their position. This would be a significant upgrade to the Duos'. Therefore, for each player from the same team or college or even the country, it could boost some stats and then maybe the entire team's starting 5 would add badges. Imagine if I had an Sixers starting five and then ran Simmons out of position at the point. Then, the rest of the players would be at their usual position. Simmons would get a severe penalty Buy NBA 2K23 MT and possibly upgrade the badges he wears.
